I’m a lot of things. Like the rest of you, I’m sure.
I’m a mom, (I like to be called Mama, though) a wife, a veterinary nurse, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a writer, a crafter, (I won’t list all the crafts I enjoy, because I’ll just find a new one to try the next day) and life long learner.
I’m very DIY in most areas of my life, so I guess I shouldn’t be so surprised that I was drawn to homeschooling. Although, I have to admit, if our local school system weren’t so scary, I don’t know if I would have been brave enough to take the plunge. Now that we have, I wonder why I ever thought about doing anything else.

I started this blog with the hopes that it could help someone somewhere the way so many people have helped my family begin our own homeschooling journey.
